Port Stops

Our Stops:

Juneau · Skagway · Ketchikan · Glacier Bay · Victoria, BC

We make five incredible stops on our Alaska cruise — each one unique and full of things to see and do. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect at each port.

Juneau, Alaska

Alaska’s capital city is one of the most unique in the country — only accessible by sea or air. Top things to do include visiting Mendenhall Glacier, whale watching tours, riding the Mount Roberts Tramway(amazing) for panoramic views, and exploring the charming downtown. Don’t miss the Red Dog Saloon for a taste of Gold Rush history!

Skagway, Alaska

Skagway is a step back in time to the Klondike Gold Rush era of the 1890s. The whole town feels like a living museum. Highlights include the White Pass & Yukon Route railway — one of the most scenic train rides in North America — hiking the Chilkoot Trail, take a helicopter to the glaciers, and browsing the historic downtown shops and saloons.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Known as the salmon capital of the world, Ketchikan is a colorful and lively port. Must-sees include Creek Street (a historic boardwalk built over a creek), Totem Bight State Park with the world’s largest collection of standing totem poles, and the Misty Fjords National Monument. Float plane excursions from here are absolutely stunning.

Glacier Bay National Park

This is a scenic cruising day — no going ashore. Glacier Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most awe-inspiring places on earth. Watch massive tidewater glaciers calve into the sea, keep an eye out for humpback whales, sea otters, and bald eagles, and listen to the on-board park ranger narrate the experience. Dress warm and get out on deck — this is not one to watch from inside!

Victoria, British Columbia – Canada

Our final port stop is the elegant and charming capital of British Columbia. Victoria has a distinctly British feel with incredible gardens, afternoon tea, and beautiful architecture. Top things to do include the world-famous Butchart Gardens, afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, exploring the Inner Harbour, and browsing the shops on Government Street. Note: This is a very short stop(only 4 hours) so plan accordingly
